09. Quit smoking
Changes in in-house smoking rate
Itoki positions smoking prevention as an issue to protect the health of its employees, and has implemented measures such as the introduction of a smoking cessation support program in 2017 and the regular dissemination of the magazine ``Recommended for quitting smoking,'' a support magazine for those aiming to quit smoking. We are continuing our efforts. Starting in 2021, we have rolled out the "3 Days to Quit Smoking" company-wide, aiming for a smoke-free and clean Itoki at all offices. As a result of these ongoing efforts, the smoking rate among all employees has significantly decreased from 32.6% in 2012 to 15.8% in 2022.

Introduction of smoking cessation support program
To encourage employees who want to quit smoking, we have introduced a "smoking cessation support program," including providing financial assistance for outpatient visits to quit smoking and providing in-house supervisors. In addition, we have introduced new measures such as an online smoking cessation program and a 3-day non-smoking experience that allows people to easily experience quitting smoking, and the organization is fully committed to providing support to help people take the first step toward quitting smoking.
