01. Body health check
Regular health checkup attendance rate 100% (as of 2022)
The participation rate for health checkups (including comprehensive medical checkups) has remained at 100% from 2014 to 2022. Every year, we have made various efforts, such as reviewing the reservation method, to make it easier to visit the clinic.
If you are 30 years old or older, you can choose to receive treatment from contracted medical institutions across Japan. In addition, in order to quickly lead to secondary health examinations and specific health guidance after regular health checkups, we have set designated periods for checkups and are working to ensure that they are implemented thoroughly.
Health checkup Secondary health checkup implementation rate 83.0% (as of 2022)
When taking a secondary medical examination after a health checkup, we use the health care leave system (special leave).
We aim to achieve a 100% secondary health checkup rate so that industrial physicians and health staff carefully encourage employees to undergo checkups, leading to early detection and early treatment of diseases.
Special medical examination
We ensure that special health examinations are conducted for workers engaged in hazardous work. (Organic solvents, ionizing radiation, etc.)

- Breast and uterine cancer screening: Encouraging people aged 30 and over to have a checkup once a year
- Brain and lung examination: Encourage people aged 40 and over to undergo examination once a year
- From 2018, we will be conducting Helicobacter pylori tests, which are effective for gastric cancer screening, for people over the age of 40. In 2022, we will expand the age range for hepatitis and Helicobacter pylori tests.
- Increased subsidy for medical examination costs for comprehensive medical checkups
- Newly established PSA (prostate cancer risk test) cost subsidy for early detection
Establishment of external consultation desk
We have established an external consultation desk that can be used not only by employees but also by their families for all kinds of concerns, including work, personal, and health-related issues. We have created an environment where you can consult with us 24 hours a day via email, phone, or face-to-face.
