Endorsement of TCFD recommendations and formulation of initiative policies

The Itoki Group has positioned responding to climate change as one of its most important management issues, and in June 2020 announced its support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
Based on the recommendations of the TCFD, we analyze the risks and opportunities that climate change poses to our business and disclose the results.

Participation in CDP (climate change)

The Itoki Group actively communicates its ESG initiatives to various stakeholders.
As part of this, we participate in the NGO CDP, which is widely recognized worldwide as the global standard for corporate environmental information disclosure, and respond to their climate change questionnaire.
Participation in GX League

The Itoki Group participates in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Green Transformation League (GX League). The GX League is a forum for industry, government, and academia to collaborate with the aim of achieving sustainable growth by taking on the challenge of GX with an eye toward achieving carbon neutrality in 2050 and social transformation. We will contribute to national efforts to combat climate change.
Supporting the Japan Climate Initiative (JCI)

The Itoki Group is a member of the Japan Climate Initiative, a network of Japanese non-governmental actors that promotes efforts to achieve the 1.5°C target.
This network brings together companies, local governments, organizations, and NGOs that share the vision of "joining Japan at the forefront of the global effort to achieve decarbonization."
Joining the Japan Climate Leaders Partnership (JCLP)

We are a member of the Japan Climate Leaders Partnership (JCLP), a corporate group aiming to realize a sustainable decarbonized society. The Itoki Group agrees with the philosophy of JCLP, demonstrates to society its intentions and actions that support the realization of a decarbonized society, and will work to decarbonize not only itself but society through its business.
Obtained SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) certification

In May 2025, the Itoki Group's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction target for fiscal 2030 was certified by SBTi as a science-based target consistent with the Paris Agreement. Approximately 90% of the total reduction amount falls under Scope 3, making action in this area particularly important. The Itoki Group will continue to promote the reduction of GHG emissions throughout its value chain.
