08. Meals

We have restored kitchen space for employees at our main locations. I use it to communicate over lunch with team members who have had less time to meet due to work style reform and ABW, and with people who work together but don't have a chance to talk.

Although the event was postponed for three years due to the coronavirus pandemic, a revival event was held in August 2023. By making pancakes and fruit punch, the participants, mainly new and mid-career employees, were able to experience how to communicate outside of work, both within and across departments.

We will continue to work on communication from various perspectives through various initiatives related to food.

We have introduced OFFICE DE YASAI, a stand-alone company meal service that allows you to easily purchase healthy meals in the office without the hassle of going out to buy them. We have conducted a questionnaire regarding meals and are expanding our efforts to introduce the system to more locations in the future.

Additionally, starting in April 2023, we will be rolling out new lineups, including frozen lunch boxes that are nutritionally balanced and developed from the perspective of reducing food loss, and new menus that will help people avoid missing breakfast and snacking before heading home. .

We will continue to support the health of our employees by providing them with high-protein, low-carbohydrate, and low-calorie bento lunches, which are essential for building a healthy body, as well as vegetables and fruits that are often lacking.

The Safety and Health Committee has installed water servers on each office floor and factory so that employees can drink water freely and from the perspective of preventing heatstroke.
