Itoki's work involves interacting with a variety of people and working on projects as a team. Each person thinks about what is expected of them and what they can do to contribute to customers, society, and the company, involves the people around them, and takes responsibility to the end without fear of failure. We are looking for people who can bring their strengths to the table and accomplish their goals.

Career recruitment activities

In order to accelerate ITOKI's future transformation and growth, we are hiring human resources with new knowledge from outside the company. In our recruitment activities, we consider not only past experience and accomplishments, but also suitability for the type of human resources we are looking for. We have also updated our mid-career recruitment page to help employees learn about the company culture before joining the company, in an effort to prevent mismatches. In fiscal 2022, we held a face-to-face social gathering for mid-career employees who joined the company in the same year. We held follow-up interviews with new employees and their superiors one and two months after joining the company to support their retention and success after joining the company.

New graduate recruitment activities

We work with students who are job-hunting to find out how they want to grow and achieve self-actualization at ITOKI, what kind of career advancement they are aiming for, and other things that cannot be grasped from the entry sheet alone. We place importance on deepening mutual understanding through Additionally, due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, face-to-face selection opportunities have decreased and online interactions have increased, but we are holding company information sessions online in an effort to deepen mutual understanding. In addition, one person will join the company through referral recruitment from new graduates in 2021.

From July 2022, we have introduced referral recruitment as a new recruitment method that will lead to expanded employment opportunities. This is a recruitment method that utilizes the networks of employees to recruit human resources. By sharing with employees the type of human resources ITOKI is looking for, we aim to acquire human resources who can work immediately by leveraging employee networks and approaching potential job changers. In addition, when making introductions, we think about the company's growth and vision, and by conveying the appeal of our company, we contribute to improving employee engagement. In fiscal 2022, 19 people were introduced in the six months since its introduction, and 10 of them have been confirmed to join the company.

Job return system

The job return system that was introduced in March 2020 was revised from January 2023, and the reason is not required as long as the employee resigns voluntarily. All job types are eligible, and the employment status at the time of recruitment is, in principle, full-time. We are revising the system to broadly recruit people who want to utilize their experience at Itoki or experience at other companies to play an active role at Itoki.

Initiatives for employment of people with disabilities

As of December 2022, the employment rate for people with disabilities is 2.59%. As a new initiative, we renewed the page for hiring people with disabilities on our website, disclosed the employment status of people with disabilities, and posted employee surveys to encourage applications and reduce the gap between before and after joining the company.

Case study: Vietnam recruitment activities

As part of our efforts to actively recruit foreign talent, a company briefing was held at Hanoi University of Technology in Vietnam, targeting science-related human resources such as circuit designers and production engineers, for whom employment selection is difficult in Japan. We exhibited at the "SEKISHOJOB FAIR 2022" meeting/interview event. After interviewing 18 people in Vietnam, we invited 6 people to our Kansai factory for executive interviews. As a result, two people are scheduled to join the company.
