Occupational safety and health
Ensuring occupational safety is a particularly important mission among corporate social responsibilities. ITOKI is working to build a corporate culture that prioritizes safety, and to create a safe, secure, and comfortable work environment where employees can work without fear of disaster.
Occupational safety and health
Part of the "On-site Danger Experience Video"
Itoki advocates creating a people-centered environment, and strives to build a workplace environment where employees can work safely and with peace of mind, while maintaining and promoting their health. All employees recognize that safety is a fundamental condition for corporate activities, and actively promote safety and health activities with the aim of preventing workplace accidents. Every year, we carry out safety and health activities with the goal of zero workplace accidents, and although there were zero lost-time accidents (counted from the first day of absence) in 2023, there were two non-lost-time accidents. At our manufacturing bases, we strive to prevent accidents by recreating actual near misses from the worker's perspective in videos and sharing them as "on-site danger experience videos." In addition, our sales bases strive to raise awareness of safety and health, and are actively working to prevent commuting accidents and falls in the office.

Building labor-management relations
We believe that healthy labor-management relations that allow thorough discussions on the company's future vision and important issues are essential to creating a company where employees can find fulfillment in their work. Based on this philosophy, we hold various forums for discussion, from labor-management councils on lump-sum payments and proposals, to expanded management labor-management councils attended by the president and all division chiefs, to labor-management councils for each division chief or each region. In addition to holding opinion exchange meetings on various themes, the labor union and the human resources department jointly exchange opinions not only within the company but also with other companies, and use the information gained by both parties to broaden their perspectives in considering and discussing human resources policies. In addition, we hold regular labor-management secretariat meetings every week to share information and awareness of issues in an open and timely manner, and to seek solutions frankly and constructively.
