MITSUBISHI ESTATE HOME CO.,Ltd
General Manager, Corporate Planning Department
Kazuhiro Nakamura

Although we started with little experience with hot desking and the digital shift, Itoki was able to provide a realistic office example with its knowledge and ability to propose ABW in response to the project's mission of transforming work styles. I believe that "TOKYO BASE" is an office that was truly created together, with our company and Itoki exchanging ideas.

Winning several awards, including the Nikkei New Office Award, has increased the brand's appeal and helped us secure talented personnel. And above all, we feel that it has had a positive effect on improving employee motivation. It has been almost two years since the system was implemented, and the new working style has gradually taken root. We will continue to update the system by verifying the results through regular employee surveys.

The company's priority in this project was to "immediately update the office and work style, leading to the emergence of innovation." To realize this goal, ITOKI was in charge of project manaMITSUBISHI ESTATE HOME CO.,Ltd gement and office design, working together with  to come up with the design.

The office design involved creating concepts and refining plans through a total of five employee-participation workshops. As various requests and opinions were put forward, Itoki's role as a professional in office design was to decide whether or not to adopt the requests presented and to bring about overall optimization.

By utilizing the knowledge of ABW that they had gained from practicing it in their own offices and by continuing to sincerely address the concerns and questions the company had, they were able to lead the project to success.
