To powerfully "evolve" the way we work and the office. An office with a gradation of motion and stillness that allows you to choose where to work flexibly

Since its founding in 1965, Ryobi Systems Co., Ltd. has been at the core of the ICT division of the Ryobi Group. In November 2022, ITOKI was responsible for comprehensive support for the Mori no Machi Office Expansion Project, which involved the relocation of office and head office functions to Mori no Machi Grace Office Square, from project management and layout planning to the selection and delivery of fixtures. An office filled with the attention to detail that only a company with roots in Okayama can offer has been completed, realizing the new way of working that the company aims to achieve.

The year 2020 has seen major changes in both the internal and external environment, including the spread of COVID-19 and the merger of all six of our companies on an equal basis, after we had been specializing in our fields for over 50 years since our founding and had been spinning off each business division into separate companies. In order to once again unite our employees in a common goal and to look ahead to the future 10 years from now, it became necessary to "evolve" our work style and office.

Our goals were to create an office that employees would want to come to, a creative office, and an office that would enhance our brand value. It was a challenge groping around in the dark as work styles and the nature of the office were changing, but after repeated discussions, Itoki came to understand our ideas well and created the office that we envisioned.

Even when it came to a single piece of fixture, they made suggestions after extensively researching Okayama, where our company originated, and sometimes even accompanied us to the studios of Bizen ware artists... I think they were always there for us, sharing their thoughts and ideas with us one by one. I hope to continue working with them as a partner, "challenging together and creating together."

For this project, we proposed a design concept called "Hare Co-Mori," based on the fact that Ryobi Systems Co., Ltd. is a company rooted in Okayama Prefecture. This is a coined word that combines and sublimates several keywords that symbolize this project: "Okayama, the Land of Sunshine," "Taking on challenges together, creating together (the gathering of individual strengths / Co-creation)," and "Grace, the town of trees (the name of the building they are located in)." We thought that "Okayama-ness" was an essential element in expressing the company's identity, so we planned tables made from materials produced in Okayama Prefecture, denim benches, and guest rooms inspired by fruits that are famous in Okayama Prefecture. It was a very memorable project, created while conveying the meaning and thoughts that went into each and every design.
