An environment in which all workers can work safely, energetically, and happily toward their goals with a sense of fulfillment and purpose.

As Dai-ichi Frontier Life Insurance's headquarters expands, the company plans to strengthen its BCP and continue to increase its workforce, and has decided to move into a large new building in the Nishi-Shinbashi redevelopment project.
The company's brand message, "Always, the best for you," means that the company delivers the best products and services to its customers. In this relocation project, the company considered that the four pillars of "safety and security (living with COVID-19, health promotion ideas, strengthening BCP)," "communication (creating new encounters and discoveries)," "work smart (promoting ABW and paperless)," and "diversity (attracting a café run by people with disabilities and consideration for the environment)" were important to create an environment that would produce the best products and services, and incorporated these concepts into the office space design to make it a reality.

For our company, this was the first time that a project team was formed to relocate. Itoki participated in project meetings from the beginning, providing various suggestions and advice. They also organized an office tour, which allowed us to visualize the image, which was extremely helpful in creating our new office. Thanks to Itoki's generous support, we were able to achieve our project goal of "an office that can deliver the best performance in the best environment, and 'deliver the best products and services to customers.'"

This was an extremely rewarding project, covering an area of approximately 7,000 square meters, the same scale as ITOKI TOKYO XORK (now ITOKI DESIGN HOUSE), and we have built a good relationship with both the client, Shimizu Corporation, as we have progressed with the design.

The key points of the design were (1) an architectural design based on the corporate color and CI mark, and (2) a visitor area that focused on the layout of private rooms and how the spaces between the rooms were created and presented.

Other notable examples include the first delivery in Japan of Filtzfeld's new curtain product, which was delivered after the customer recognized the quality of the material and symbolic design, and the delivery of an entire wall of art that involved employee participation.

Due to the impact of COVID-19, we were able to complete the work on schedule in an environment where remote meetings were the norm. We feel that the success of this large-scale relocation project was due to the cooperation and support of the Daiichi Frontier Life Insurance Company and the many other people involved, who helped us to align our efforts.
