A new office that incorporates progressive variability to maximize the performance of individuals and organizations through gradual changes to suit working styles

Heisei Building Co., Ltd., which provides highly specialized comprehensive building management services and has earned the trust of many customers, relocated its head office in 2023 due to the aging of the building it was in. The keyword for challenging diverse work styles in a new environment, such as revitalizing internal communication, group desking, and digital transformation, is "variability." This is a workplace that can be updated to the optimal form in accordance with changes in work styles.

This relocation project was on a very tight schedule, but ITOKI clearly showed us the path to the start of operations, and we were able to complete the relocation on schedule. When considering the layout and interior, they always provided multiple options and explained the characteristics of each, so we were able to make a decision while deepening our understanding.

I think the proposal to gradually implement hot desking was a perfect fit for our employees and work style. More than a year has passed since the relocation, and we are currently in the process of promoting group desking. There is also a movement to start work style reform at our Kansai branch, so if we were to relocate, we would like to consult with ITOKI again.

The keyword for this project was "variability." Rather than using the relocation as an opportunity to make drastic changes to work styles, we aimed to create a workplace that could evolve into an optimal form to suit the circumstances.

In addition to consolidating the floors, we have created new magnet spaces and refreshment areas, and combined with the bright color design, we feel we have created a lively office.

Thanks to the reliable and swift decision-making by everyone on the project team, we were able to complete the office construction with attention to detail, even within a tight schedule.
