Located in the center of the office, this collaborative space symbolizes the office concept of Collaboration & Innovation = "COIN." With a relaxed atmosphere, "COIN1" is a place to dig deep into ideas. A variety of seats are provided around a high counter to match the size of the circular skylight. It can be easily accessed from the seats on the north and south sides, allowing you to work on ideas as if you were unearthing a COIN.

User's Voice

TOKYO ELECTRON TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS LIMITED
Yuko Hasegawa, Business Support Group, Human Resources and General Affairs Department

One of the key points in selecting a partner was how enthusiastic they would be to support our vision of creating new ways of working and an innovative office. Itoki deeply understood our vision, and while incorporating our requests, they used their professional knowledge and ideas to create a space that exceeded our imagination.

We have built a good partnership with the architectural design firm, and we feel that the three parties have been on the same boat as we proceeded with the project. We hope that an exciting office environment will stimulate collaboration and generate new ideas that will lead to business development.

For this project, we assisted TOKYO ELECTRON TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS LIMITED in designing a new office building to tackle the challenge of new ways of working and to "improve employee productivity and accelerate innovation."

In order to realize the concept of COIN (Collaboration & Innovation), we aimed to propose a consistent approach to architecture, interior design, and work style. By clarifying how employees would use the office and incorporating a little playfulness, we were able to create a one-of-a-kind working environment.

During the two-year project, we made proposals from various angles regarding the latest offices and working styles, and together we created a lively and exciting environment.
