A new base that supports the development of Takayama's small and medium-sized enterprises and paves the way for the future.

MMPC Consulting Group provides corporate consulting with a focus on tax and accounting, with the philosophy of "Understanding that our existence is based on the 'trust of our customers,' and imagining 'people's happiness' through 'creating a good company' in the local community."
In December 2020, the company built a new office in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture, called "studio mirai," creating an environment that supports the practice of new ways of working and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Takayama.

The entrance is based on the motif of the earthen floor passageway found in old houses in Takayama. It is designed to match the blind art and furniture that highlights the craftsmanship of Hida furniture. The pillars and beams used in old houses, which have become lustrous over time, are also expressed in the pillars and beams of the new building.

The space was named "Nigi Market" because it is a place where diverse people interact and get excited, like the morning market in Takayama. It is an open space that overlooks the connection between the first floor, mezzanine level, and second floor. Equipped with four 70-inch multi-vision screens, it creates a lively atmosphere by streaming live footage from the Takayama and Nagoya offices and projecting seminar materials.

Looking at how they work in the new building, you can see that they are able to use the space according to its purpose and purpose. Employees themselves organize office tours, and companies and students from outside the prefecture visit.

ITOKI also supported us when we built our Nagoya office, and introduced us to the design team FULL POWER STUDIO for this project. They gave us a variety of ideas, including expressing the charms of Takayama that we had not yet noticed. I believe it was this team that enabled us to realize this new way of working.

The studio mirai project serves as a base for putting MMPC Consulting Group's new ways of working into practice, and has been involved in the project from the planning stage together with architectural design firm FULL POWER STUDIO.

In order to support the development of local businesses in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, a "visit-type office" was realized, and by examining working styles and incorporating this into the architectural design, a space was created where customers can be noticed and approached no matter where they are.

In workshops in which all employees participated, we were successful in gradually changing the mindset of employees toward new ways of working. We have been able to smoothly adapt to major changes such as going paperless, going cloud-based, and choosing where to work.

The result of careful consideration over the course of four years, studio mirai is a one-of-a-kind design.
