The new headquarters office is connected by a sky walk and has a sense of unity, aiming to realize "ONE TEAM."
Kyowa Pharmaceutical Industry Co., Ltd. aims to become a leading company in the generic drug industry, and is challenging new possibilities for medical care and people's health in Japan. Currently, the company is transforming into a hybrid drug manufacturer that includes branded drugs. In December 2017, the company relocated its head office from Shin-Osaka to the 27th floor of Nakanoshima Festival Tower West, a landmark in the Nakanoshima area. The office space is one of the largest in the Kansai region, occupying an area of 820 tsubo (820 tsubo), with a sense of unity.

A circulation line where everyone can share the view from the 27th floor. On the pillars, a simple map showing the skywalk logo and location designed by project members is posted.

A space located in the northwest corner with the best view. In addition to refreshments and meetings, we can also hold various events.

A space where you can spend as much time as you like. The office area is gently separated from the office area by a bookshelf (pictured on the right) that does not feel overwhelming.

Installed at various locations on the skywalk. Each has different preparations and functions, and you can freely choose and use them. The photo shows an area where semi-closed meetings can be held with moderately high panels.

Itoki fully reflected our requests in the layout and design, and we were able to overcome the issues we had with the old office. I feel that the project was able to proceed smoothly with the support of the designers, project managers, and sales staff. After the office was completed, we created cups with the Skywalk logo and distributed them to relocation project members, including people from Itoki. We were able to leave behind a legacy of what we created together in the office.

We always cherished the concept that we created with the project members, "Sharing value equally among all," and worked together to create the office. Discussions at workshops and regular meetings were always lively, and I was very impressed by the strength of passion of all the project members.
The "Sky walk" allows you to stroll around the windows with a great view, and the "Sky terrace" can be used for a variety of purposes, and we have created various spaces based on these thoughts. Making the most of Advantage of being gathered on one floor, the excellent location creates communication and naturally leads to a sense of unity. This office was made possible by sharing values with all the project members and building it.
