Seeking a creative place where new business can be born. An office packed with the "IDOM style" where employees can work freely and comfortably.
IDOM Inc. operates stores all over Japan, mainly under the "Gulliver" brand, which sells and buys used cars. In constructing a CS (creative space) following their office relocation, ITOKI was in charge of comprehensive support, from project management and layout planning to the selection and delivery of fixtures. The office was completed in a way that respects the free working style of each employee and maximizes the creativity that is expressed through face-to-face meetings.

Mr. Aoi Kuno
As the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a rethink of the nature of offices, there was a demand for an environment where employees could freely choose their workspace without worrying about their physical, mental, or IT aspects, and where they could further demonstrate their creativity. As a result, the company decided to consolidate its head office functions into three locations, and this project involved building a CS (creative space) that would be a "place for business creation." The project progressed vigorously with the proposed office concept, "Drive. (-My Work, -My Future)" as its motto.
The end result was an office filled with design and functionality unique to our company, including an entrance inspired by a junction, a circular cafe area reminiscent of a drive-in, and a "ROAD" that circles the office. Combined with the introduction of hot desking and ABW, we have created an environment where employees can work freely and in their own way. Itoki proposed the office after gaining a deep understanding of our company's corporate culture and the working style we aim for. We are grateful that they always consider our perspective when responding to us.

We aimed to create a space where people can move around freely, gather and interact with each other, by incorporating IDOM's desire to "leave an impact on visitors with something new and surprising they have never seen before" and "create a space that leaves a bright impression on visitors," along with the unique characteristics of IDOM Inc., a company that is developing its business around automobile distribution, into the design concept of "JUNCTION."
Although we were on a tight schedule, designing multiple areas at the same time, the project members were quick to make decisions and the project progressed smoothly. IDOM and ITOKI proactively took on new challenges and were able to create an office that was full of our unique ideas.
