Our company's "Workstyle of Tomorrow Project" seeks to find new ways of working and what the office should be. We received strong support from Calbee Co., Ltd. in the large-scale renovation of our head office, which was born from this project. What made the biggest impression on us was the concept of likening the office to a field, as "fertile soil that supports the workstyle of tomorrow." This proposal was not a simple repurposing of Itoki's existing know-how, but rather a reflection of the essence of what makes Calbee unique. Employee surveys conducted after the office began operations showed that the level of satisfaction with the new office was very high, and we are extremely pleased that we have been able to create an office that people can be proud of and that people want to come to work in.
I have high hopes for Itoki to be a leader in creating offices for a new era. It may sound like an exaggeration, but I feel that an increase in such offices will help create a bright future for Japan.

As the working environment has changed dramatically with remote work now the norm, we exchanged ideas with Calbee Co., Ltd. in order to design a space that would make employees who work far apart want to get together.
Based on the company's corporate message, "Let's dig up the power of nature," and its background in working closely with contracted producers to produce the potatoes they use as raw materials, we came up with the image of an office where people can feel the blessings of nature and where ideas are born like a ripening field. With the motif of the "fields" that Calbee holds dear, we aim to build an environment where new interactions and value creation can take place by increasing the number of "places where people can come into contact with each other."
This was a project in which the team came together to think carefully about how to create the excitement and fun that is characteristic of Calbee.

Our mission was to create an office that was unique to Calbee Co., Ltd. above all else. With engagement, relationship, and collaboration as our keywords, we worked closely with Calbee to create a place where people could come together and generate new ideas. Based on the feedback we received after construction was completed and operations began, we feel that we have created a high-quality office.
In addition, working with Calbee, which has been working on work style reform from an early stage, has given us many new realizations. This is also something that can be gained through "interaction between people." We look forward to many more interactions being born in this office in the future.
