compliance
The Itoki Group is building a compliance promotion system that not only ensures compliance with laws and regulations, but also serves as the foundation for the promotion of fair business practices, and is actively working to strengthen compliance awareness among all executives and employees of the Group.
Compliance promotion system
A company-wide promotion system
The Itoki Group has established a Compliance Committee under the Risk Management Committee as the highest body for promoting compliance. The committee met twice in fiscal 2023 to plan and propose company-wide measures. Specific measures are implemented and guided by compliance promotion committee members and promotion officers established in each region, and activities are promoted comprehensively across the entire company.

Use of the helpline (internal reporting system)
In order to secure social trust and to create an environment in which all employees can work with peace of mind, we have established a helpline (internal reporting system). Approximately 20 reports were received in fiscal 2023. We will continue to improve the system so that all employees can report with peace of mind.
Meeting the challenges of 2022
Labor management in line with the spread of telework
From the perspective of preventing excessive work, we are recognizing that the conventional management method based on face-to-face meetings is insufficient, and are therefore working to improve our attendance management system. We will also change to a performance-based evaluation system to ensure fair evaluation and labor management.
Information management in conjunction with the spread of telework
By checking whether there is a risk of information leakage each time an employee applies for telework, we are promoting flexible working styles while ensuring thorough information management.
Strengthening awareness of compliance
E-learning and hierarchical training
In fiscal 2023, we implemented e-learning for all officers and employees to provide knowledge on general legal compliance and harassment, as well as on the Subcontract Act and the Antimonopoly Act. We also provide training for different levels of employees, such as training for management and training for new employees.
Compliance survey
We will conduct a completely anonymous compliance survey of all employees every year again in 2023, and use the results to promote compliance and raise awareness.
Introducing voluntary initiatives
In 2023, we placed emphasis on promoting voluntary initiatives by compliance promotion committee members and promotion officers. Information about unique "good initiatives" implemented in each region will be shared at the Compliance Committee, and other compliance promotion committee members and promotion officers will use it as a reference when carrying out their activities.
Initiatives from 2024
We will ensure that each and every employee has a deeper understanding of the internal reporting system, work to further improve it so that it is easy for everyone to use, and ensure that everyone is fully aware of the system.
