Evaluation Comments from the “Good Design” Committee

Rather than furniture with new design elements added as a result of added functionality, we create sophisticated noiseless furniture that is simply constructed from ordinary materials and includes the necessary functional elements without making any noise. The result is a furniture series that realizes this method. In order to establish an overall image, it was praised for the fact that even the details in hidden areas were processed to be as thorough and noiseless as the front areas. This is a product that has the potential to become a standard in the future.

Medi Work Cart-S

Mediwork Cart Type S

Itoki's unique nurse cart is equipped with a handle that can be used in any direction, allowing it to handle a variety of nursing tasks depending on the situation. In order to improve usability, the tray has a mounting structure that makes it easy to access from the surrounding area so that it is easy to take out the items stored in the tray. By keeping the main unit compact and maximizing the capacity of the tray, you can store a large amount of items needed for work inside the tray. In addition, the shape is simple and the unevenness is reduced, making it easier to clean.

Evaluation Comments from the “Good Design” Committee

The feature of this design is the concept of an omnidirectional cart, which was inspired by the actual usage situations of nurses in the changing medical field, including the digitization of medical records. Designs inspired by on-site observations include a handle that runs all around the table top so that it can be used in any direction, X-shaped legs that do not get in the way when pushed in any direction, and a single column structure that improves access to the tray. Each design element is very persuasive.

Medi Stand

medistand

Based on field research, the most important point for nurses when it comes to IV stands is safety, and by making the support S-shaped and eccentric, it is possible to hang a large IV pack on the center hook of the ring top without compromising stability. Can be operated. Also, the top ring hits the curtain first, so it won't get caught on curtains, etc. The product can be held both vertically and horizontally, allowing it to be used by patients in various conditions, while also providing convenience in the hospital with a hook that can secure bags, etc., to create a safe product.

Evaluation Comments from the “Good Design” Committee

The S-shaped off-centre strut allows large infusion packs to be hung on the center hook of the ring top without compromising stability, and all packs can be accessed from many directions. Because the ring top hits the curtain first than the top hook, there is less risk of getting caught and falling, and the design was praised for meeting the needs of safety and stability based on research conducted on site.

Disaster mitigation building materials “Highly earthquake resistant partition G” and “Seismic control partition X”

Disaster mitigation building materials “Highly earthquake resistant partition G” and “Seismic control partition X”

Although earthquake disasters themselves cannot be prevented, the risks during disasters can be reduced. Based on this concept, the "High Earthquake Resistance Partition G" and "Seismic Control Partition X" series of disaster mitigation building materials are being developed in the field of interior building materials to provide safe and secure spaces for everyone's workplaces. "High Earthquake Resistance Partition G" is a product that flexibly follows the movement even when the maximum possible displacements of the building, ceiling, and partitions overlap during a major earthquake, reducing the risk of the partition collapsing. "Seismic Control Partition X" is a product that is built into existing partition products to reduce the risk of ceiling surface collapse within a certain range, and increase the safety of the space, including the ceiling and partitions, in cases where the ceiling itself is vulnerable and at risk of collapsing, where movable partitions are installed.

Evaluation Comments from the “Good Design” Committee

In addition to having excellent seismic isolation, the window is highly functional because it has an appropriate amount of play, so no load is placed on the window. Although it has a subtle internal structure design that the user does not notice, it is considered to have an excellent structure.

As an interface for managing entry/exit, we have created a simple and clean design that blends into the entrance space with functions such as graphic processing that makes it easy to read the ○/x of the authentication result even from the position where the authentication card is held up, and standards compliance that corresponds to standard outlet box dimensions. It was praised for its combination of shape and texture.
