A place where students can create their own space through trial and error to suit their studies.
In 2014, Waseda University launched the WASEDA-EDGE Human Resource Development Program (EDGE Program). In September 2015, we opened the new WASEDA Kyosoukan as our base. We have begun to create an active learning space where students can take the lead in creating spaces, thinking freely on their own, and updating their ideas through collaboration with teachers and business people.

brainstorming room
A brainstorming room surrounded by whiteboard walls is ideal for when you want a small group of people to concentrate and exchange ideas or deepen their thoughts.

You are free to move the furniture and eat and drink as you like within the building. You can move the stools and chairs to wherever you want to gather, quickly divide up space with a movable whiteboard, and bring the tools you need to the side of the table on a cart.

idea space
idea space
The idea space, equipped with sofas, is a space where you can come up with new ideas by changing your posture and line of sight, and where you can relax and stimulate communication.
