Toyosu Library, located on the 9th to 11th floors of Toyosu Civic Center, has increased its collection since relocating, and has also improved the reading environment for children, supported reading activities by volunteers, and set up special corners that reflect the characteristics of the area. The building has an excellent location with glass on three sides, and the terrace, based on the concept of a modern satoyama, is planted with plants that reflect the four seasons, making it a space where you can feel nature even though it is in the air.

ITOKI held close discussions with the library regarding the signage and furniture for the library, resolving each issue one by one. We implemented signs and designs that were easy for anyone to understand and would spark children's interest in books. By using many wooden products, we were able to create a wooden space where people can relax and enjoy reading while feeling the traditions of the local wood industry.

Since the opening, many people have come to register their library cards, and the library has remained bustling ever since. I believe we have helped to realize the new Toyosu Library's goal of becoming a library where people can stay.
