Otemon Gakuin, which celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2018, has a new concept that symbolizes the school's new education: "WIL (Work-Is-Learning)," a learning style that "Learns by acting, and acts while learning." advocate.

Particularly at universities, we promote a learning style centered on discussions, oral presentations, fieldwork, and workshop formats, in which students learn independently and problem-solve collaboratively.

In order to realize WIL, the new campus (Ibaraki Sojiji Campus) opened has learning spaces on each floor and an open library, making it a space where students can learn and discuss both inside and outside of the classroom. With the existing Ibaraki Ai Campus and a two-campus structure, we aim to foster human resources who will carve out a future society through student-directed learning.
