Since its establishment in 1986, NTT Urban Development Co., Ltd. has been a comprehensive real estate company of the NTT Group, providing a wide range of real estate services both domestically and overseas, with the development and rental of office buildings, including the "Urban Net" series, as its core business. In 2016, the company celebrated its 30th anniversary, and planned the relocation and renovation of its head office. The departments that were dispersed within "Akihabara UDX" were consolidated onto one floor, and the relocation was completed in 2017. Taking advantage of the Advantage of scale of the floor area of approximately 1,500 tsubo, the company is pursuing active communication and innovative work styles.

In order to resolve management issues, the current relocation and renovation was realized after repeated research and analysis of the past office. A survey conducted after the start of operation revealed a high level of satisfaction. More than a year has passed since then, and the envisioned work style has permeated the company, including stimulating collaboration between departments and stimulating innovation due to the unique workplace. In the future, we would like to use this experience as backing data for spatial proposals to customers.

For this property, we worked closely with the customer to promote the project.
On the occasion of our 30th anniversary, we took into account the successes and challenges of the traditional way of working, and the idea was that the way of working we arrived at was "rather than a free address system, we created a place where you could have your own desk, but with extra benefits, and stimulate communication."
As a company that develops cities, we are still exploring ways to contribute to society from both the hardware and software aspects, and are continuing to grow as we experimentally operate and improve our offices. I am very much looking forward to future developments.
