As a member of the NEC Group,NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation is involved in network infrastructure businesses. For the company's "Nihonbashi Innovation Base" project, which was born as a place for co-creation and innovation, ITOKI was in charge of total space planning (layout planning, zoning, fixtures) to realize the concept. The company created an unprecedented new office by playing a role in the company's "office structural reform," which fundamentally changes the way people work and accelerates the creation of innovation by dispersing it into functionally specialized locations.

An "open innovation space" with 137-inch x 3 super-large displays. It makes its presence felt in the space in front of the entrance. It will be used as a symbol of innovation, with a life-sized connection to Silicon Valley in the United States.

The desk arrangement facilitates natural interaction with people passing by. An atmosphere where workers can move freely creates an environment that fosters co-creative work.

The layout allows for a high degree of freedom in working styles, such as sitting in teams without being bound by an organization. We are also particular about the line of flow so that you can use ICT tools the moment you want to use them.

A space that can be quickly switched to different uses such as office work, consultation, and meetings. The uniquely shaped desk has been carefully thought out so that the monitor can be easily viewed from any seat. Encourage comfortable information sharing.

A room for holding meetings with guests. Rooms with different images are arranged from "00" to "08". There is a Zoom function inside so you can collaborate without stress.

He deeply understood our needs in his proposal, and I remember being filled with anticipation for the collaboration on the project that was about to begin. During the project, they always responded accurately to our image and progressed very quickly despite the tight schedule. The completed office is very easy to use and has been well received by workers. We hope to continue co-creating with them in order to achieve further innovation in the future.

An office where there are almost no obstructing walls, and where people and information are organically connected. That is the "Nihonbashi Innovation Base." The design was designed to encourage a natural flow of people and exchange of knowledge, creating an open and seamless space that allows people to roam around. We are creating an environment where you can communicate immediately when necessary.
The team works together to promote the project to realize an office that can be co-created by people both inside and outside the organization. We aimed for an office space that would symbolize the company's progressiveness.
