New headquarters building creates synergy effects.
The Ichinen Group operates a wide range of businesses, including automobile leasing-related businesses, chemical businesses, parking businesses, machine and tool sales businesses, synthetic resin businesses, and other businesses.
The company's headquarters building in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture was rebuilt to serve as a base where the company's ever-expanding group companies can come together and maximize synergy effects, and began operations in December 2020.

The layout has dynamic features with desks with irregular tops. Depending on the department, either group desking or assigned seats is used. Custom-made Act chairs are installed, and different colors are used for each floor.

The synergy spot and offices can be seen from the atrium staircase located in the center of the floor, which smoothly connects the upper and lower floors. The synergy spot is a place where workers naturally gather, consolidating a communication corner, kitchen, and copy machines. There is a good view from the staircase, and you can sense the people gathering.

The kitchen, located in a synergy spot, is one of the mechanisms that naturally draws people together. It is equipped with water supply and drainage facilities, and its mortar-like design creates a luxurious atmosphere. The high counter allows for casual conversation, as well as concentrated work and meetings.

Each of the eight rooms was given a name and color, Knoll sound-absorbing panels were installed in each room as art, and the latest web conferencing system was also installed.

The large sliding wall allows the main hall to be divided into six sections. The photo shows the main hall in use. The ICT equipment is enhanced with nine-screen multi-monitors installed in two locations.

We have adopted a four-screen multi-monitor system and are equipped with the optimal ICT equipment for web conferences.

The open space where the exterior and interior are integrated can be used for a variety of purposes, including relaxation, meetings, and individual work.

Itoki has supported us as a reliable partner in office construction to date. This was the largest project of all, but they worked together as a team, from sales, designers, and ICT personnel to construction.
We were able to work smoothly with the design firm, who worked on the fusion of architecture and design. In the future, we plan to make further use of the office, such as by implementing hot desking throughout the building and allowing employees to work anywhere according to their purpose.

The completed office has a concept of "SYNERGY" that can be felt everywhere.
Whether within a department, a floor, or the entire building, no matter where you look, there are opportunities and mechanisms for rich communication, and you can expect synergy effects.
As this was a new construction for our own company building, we were able to be involved from the basic design stage and make proposals that were integrated with the architectural plan. Also, by carefully deciding on each and every detail together with the client and the architectural designers, we believe we were able to create a more fulfilling space.
