User's Voice
Hitachi, Ltd.
Mr.Kenta Kumagai, Social Innovation Collaborative Center
Itoki has been involved in creating collaborative spaces for Hitachi,Ltd. and has a deep understanding of collaborative creation, so we asked them to participate as a design working member in this project. In an effort to engage in open collaborative creation with customers and partners, we consider the necessary facilities and their details from the building design stage to the end, and propose the spaces, furniture, and ICT tools necessary for Hitachi,Ltd.'s collaborative creation on a case-by-case basis. I received it. This facility is filled with many originally developed products.

I have been involved in the planning of this Kyosou-no-Mori project as a member of the design task team from the basic architectural design stage, as it is a facility that will realize Hitachi's "new form of collaborative creation."
By taking advantage of the rich nature and spacious spaces that are not found in the city center, and proceeding with comprehensive planning from architecture to interior design, lighting, furniture, and ICT, people can gather and spend a comfortable time. Instead, it is a place where we welcome customers from all over the world and realize collaborative creation. People who live here can spend their time here as if they were living there and find their favorite place.
It is a place for unique designs born from collaborative creation and challenges with design task members and related parties, both inside and outside of ITOKI.
