As a method of operating hot desking, a lottery was introduced to determine seating each day. This playful seating arrangement became something to look forward to every morning, and helped to establish hot desking.

User's Voice

Fuji Xerox Co.,Ltd. Iwate
Marketing Support Department Manager Tsuyoshi Omurata

Itoki supported us from the early stages of the project and responded to our various requests. Although there are still many offices in Iwate that have island-shaped layouts, it was a great achievement to demonstrate that an office like ours can be built even with limited space and budget. In the future, I would like to disseminate more information to the outside world. The new environment has created conversations and smiles among employees, and a sense of collaboration across job boundaries has taken hold.

This project started with a workshop in which Fuji Xerox Co.,Ltd. Iwate created a unique concept using their own words.

The concept that was created by freely exchanging opinions and sharing issues and ideas about the ideal office was
"An energizing office that maximizes the energy of employees."

A space where employees can freely choose the workplace they want to work in, where they can feel free to consult and share information, and an office where employees can see how they work naturally fosters communication and establishes a sense of collaboration across job boundaries. I hear that.

A place where ideas are generated to solve customer problems. Furthermore, I am grateful to have been able to be involved in this project as it provides a workplace that brings vitality to local businesses.
