One of Japan's leading hospitals with a 75-bed ICU room
Aichi Medical University Hospital opened in Nagakute in 1974. Since then, it has taken root in the eastern Owari region, providing medical care closely tied to the community, and has progressed as a hospital capable of providing advanced medical care. Forty years later, on May 9, 2014, Aichi Medical University Hospital began medical treatment at the new hospital. The new hospital will be one of Japan's leading hospitals, equipped with the latest equipment, 19 operating rooms, and a 75-bed ICU room, fully equipped to handle advanced medical care. Furthermore, by using a seismic isolation structure and duplicating lifelines, we aim to continue providing medical care even in the event of a major disaster such as an earthquake.
