The spread of COVID-19 has given us more opportunities to reexamine the way we live and work. Is a lifestyle where we commute to work and work in the usual office as if it were normal to do so sustainable? Many people may have had this question.
FMSTAFF Co.,Ltd., a group company of ITOKI, opened a shared office called "Slow Work Yaita" in Yaita City in northern Tochigi Prefecture in April 2022. This time, we will introduce the vision of "Slow Work Yaita," which was born in Tochigi Prefecture, an area full of attractions such as tourist destinations and outdoor activities, and the inside of the facility!

1. Pursuing sustainable working styles – The value of SLOW WORK
【SLOW WORK】
Business owners: Securing a sustainable workforce
The days of "Can you work 24 hours a day?" are over. We have moved from a work style that involves running short distances and risking leaving the company or having health problems to a work style that produces high-quality output and allows employees to stay in the company for the long term by improving their well-being.
User: Providing an opportunity to reexamine oneself
It's not a place with a lot of people in the metropolitan area, nor is it a place where you're alone working remotely from home. It's a workplace that's just right, not too stimulating, not too little. By objectively checking your own way of working and living, we provide an opportunity to redesign your future way of working.
2. Regional revitalization
In regions where the population is declining, local governments and the national government are working together to revitalize the regions, with the aim of creating autonomous and sustainable societies by leveraging each region's unique characteristics.

Through the value of SLOW WORK, various people will gather and the region will be revitalized. If various initiatives are born in the region, Yaita's appeal as a place to work will increase even more. By making the SLOW WORK way of working a local specialty, we aim to create a "virtuous cycle."

Through Slow Work Yaita, we would like to promote the concept of "slow work" to the world. When we work every day, we are always pressed for time. There are probably many people who are worried about working in ways they do not want. For such people, working as if they are living in a place where time flows slowly, even if it is just for a day or a few hours, in Yaita, surrounded by abundant nature, will be an opportunity to reexamine themselves. That is the kind of place we aim to create.
In addition, the government established the "Regional Revitalization Telework Grant" in 2020, aiming to attract population to local governments suffering from population decline, and we have received many inquiries from local governments that want to implement initiatives like Slow Work Yaita.
We have established a support system to meet such requests, so please feel free to contact us.
