ORGATEC TOKYO 2024, an office furniture trade fair, was held at Tokyo Big Sight from May 29 to 31, 2024. This was the third time the fair was held in Tokyo, and it was a huge success, with a record number of visitors of 40,631, far more than last year.
This year, we once again welcomed customers to our booth, which expressed our free-flowing worldview, in the main area of the venue. Thank you very much for your interest in our exhibition. All of our staff would like to express their sincere gratitude.
This time, we will be bringing you a report on ORGATEC TOKYO 2024! Even if you couldn't make it on the day, we hope you will enjoy the exhibition space at our booth and the atmosphere of the event!

Something that only ITOKI can do.
A platform that connects the world
This time, ITOKI's theme was "& ITOKI," which means collaboration with global brands on the world stage, and in addition to its own products, it curated and exhibited products from a total of six brands: "Knoll," "esPattio," "J1890," "STELLAR WORKS," and "Poul Henningsen Furniture." It presented its image as a "platform" that weaves together the world, expressing its infinitely expanding synergy in a continuous manner.

Just as people connect with each other, the creators of the workplace can also connect with each other. With this in mind, the six brand areas, each with a different atmosphere, are gently divided and connected to complete the space.
The lines are made up of countless PVC pipes. Pipes of various lengths are hung from the ceiling, completing the spatial design with a somewhat organic curve. These PVC pipes will be recycled after the event, with due consideration given to the future of Planet.
Now, let's take a look at the exhibits in each area with photos and videos!
*Details of the products exhibited at the venue can also be found [here].
Taking the power of design to a new dimension.
ITOKI's proposals to repaint the office landscape

The area displaying ITOKI products provided a stylish space centered around products designed by product designer Fumie Shibata. The highly popular chair "Vertebra 03" was exhibited in a variety of textures, from a type finished with a unique, brushed fabric to a wood type that makes use of the natural woody feel, giving a glimpse of its design variations.

The product that attracted attention was a mobile battery called "hako" that features an extremely minimalist design that looks like a box at first glance. It is a gadget that is difficult to design, but it is rare to see one that is so refined. Not only does it allow you to work without being tied to the location of the power source, but it also promises a high-quality usability that makes it look good no matter where you place it in the office.
Also, many visitors experienced the web conference booth "ADDCELL Hexa," which has an innovative hexagonal shape that catches the eye. The greatest advantage of this shape is that when multiple booths are installed next to each other, the "white space" can be used effectively. Meeting spaces can be set up not only inside the booth but also outside, creating an even wider range of usage scenarios. Another attractive feature is that the side can be made to look transparent, creating a clear impression without a sense of obstruction.
We had a lot of people sit both inside and outside the booth, and we received a lot of wonderful feedback, such as "It's spacious!" "It's comfortable and doesn't feel claustrophobic," "Spaces like this are really relaxing," and "The design is really cool!" It was a very enjoyable experience for us!

It has a cinematic, mid-century feel.
"Knoll"

Founded in New York in 1938, Knoll is a global brand known for its so-called mid-century modern design. Itoki established a joint venture, Knoll Japan Co., Ltd., to handle Knoll's products in Japan, and has been bringing a new wind to office design ever since.
In this exhibition, we expressed the appeal of the "Rockwell Unscripted Modular storage" and the "Antenna Meeting Table," which has a hard impression, by roughly arranging textiles. We created a space that was like a movie, with absolutely no unnecessary elements.
Like a courtyard with bright, soft sunlight. "esPattio"

"esPattio" is a furniture brand from Spain that creates bright spaces where people gather, like Spanish courtyards (patios). As the name suggests, the rounded, soft lines create a warm atmosphere in meeting spaces. Can you imagine a conversation with colleagues in the same workplace melting into a relaxed and peaceful time?
"J1890" is an interior design project from New York.

The "J1890" was given a sneak preview at ORGATEC ahead of its planned global launch in 2025. The name does not refer to a specific brand, but to the "project" it is being given to create a creative and enjoyable space. At the venue, a circular layout reminiscent of an "executive meeting room" was exhibited, and a video link was made to another area in the same ITOKI booth, creating a next-generation executive room. The design drew the attention of many customers, who described it as "mind-blowingly cool."
East and West, tradition and modernity blend together
"STELLAR WORKS"

Since its launch in Shanghai in 2012, STELLAR WORKS is an up-and-coming brand that has collaborated with renowned designers one after another and has been adopted by hotels, restaurants, and offices around the world. With a concept of "cross culture" that combines East and West, tradition and modernity, the brand truly connects the world borderlessly. In this exhibition, too, a unique atmosphere was created that effortlessly blended "lifestyle" and "workplace."
It has come to us after half a century.
"Poul Henningsen Furniture"

Poul Henningsen Furniture is a furniture brand by Poul Henningsen, a designer born in Copenhagen, Denmark. When the design was first created in 1950, technical issues made it difficult to mass-produce, and the pieces were extremely rare and not widely distributed on the market. Half a century later, production technology has caught up, and the pieces have now appeared before us - a story that is hard to resist and romantic...! The lines, which can be described as "beautiful," celebrate creativity and bring a sense of excitement along with their rigid coolness.
Thanks to you, we received a lot of positive feedback!

We received a great deal of communication from the customers who visited our booth, and it was an invaluable opportunity for us to have the opportunity to interact directly with our customers. We created our booth, set up our products, and welcomed our customers with the simple idea of "expressing the value that our company can provide to our customers." Nothing would make us happier than if we could convey even a little of that feeling through this exhibition.
Thanks to you, our booth was highly evaluated and won the runner-up prize at the ORGATEC TOKYO Awards, which recognizes outstanding booths, for the second year in a row. It was also selected as the "Best Booth Selected by Exhibitors"! We are truly grateful to all the visitors who came to the event for helping us receive such an honor.

Please look forward to future ITOKI products!
Once again, we would like to thank you for your many visits to the ITOKI booth at ORGATEC TOKYO 2024. ITOKI will continue to pursue and deliver new value to our customers in offices and work styles.
