The ITOKI Group designs safe products that comply with domestic and international chemical substance-related laws and regulations and other requirements, based on the ITOKI Group Chemical Substance Green Procurement Guidelines.
Furthermore, regarding the reduction of chemical substances, we are promoting the study of paints and improvements in the painting process, with the main goal of reducing chemical substances subject to the PRTR system such as VOCs.

The Itoki Group is conducting thorough management and reduction activities for PRTR-designated substances used at each factory and manufacturing group company. We also require raw material manufacturers to provide products that comply with the ITOKI Group Green Procurement Guidelines for Chemical Substances.In principle, we obtain SDS (Safety Data Sheets), understand the listed properties and ingredients, and handle them internally. In addition to thorough risk management, we are switching to alternative materials with less environmental impact and switching to powder coating.

Based on SDS (safety data sheets) obtained from raw material manufacturers, we evaluate the toxicity of chemical substances, and determine and implement procedures for each handling location, such as wearing protective equipment when handling chemicals and first aid methods in the event of exposure. doing.
