Maximize the comfort of your research environment. Offices and laboratories designed to provide a cutting-edge environment with a view to becoming a hub for drug discovery both domestically and internationally.
PeptiDream Inc. conducts drug discovery research and development that utilizes special peptides using its unique drug discovery and development platform system: PDPS (Peptide Discovery Platform System). Established in 2006 as a bio-venture from the University of Tokyo, with the philosophy of "creating the world's first new medicine from Japan and contributing to society." In July 2017, the company built and relocated a new office building to Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, in order to improve the research environment and secure talented human resources. The new office building, which is now operational, is a high-spec office and laboratory space that enhances intellectual productivity with a location* befitting the company's position as a world leader in the field of drug discovery research and development, and state-of-the-art facilities.
- The company was established in King Skyfront, an open innovation hub that creates new industries from world-class research and development, focusing on the life science and environmental fields, which are expected to grow globally.

An impressive exterior with impressive sailing louvers. Control of line of sight from the outside has also been calculated.

It curves to match the shape of the building and connects north and south. The office area is in the center, the lab is across the glass partition to the right, and the view opens out to the left. It is a comfortable space with open views in all directions. The interior is coordinated with white as the base color.

One of the major objectives of this project was to improve the research environment. As a researcher myself, I had the experience of working in a cutting-edge research environment in Europe, and I strongly wanted to create that kind of environment in my new research facility. We have created an ideal environment in terms of functionality, comfort, and safety. Regarding the collaboration with Itoki, we had frequent meetings, and all the members involved in this project, including the sales staff and designers, responded politely and we were able to proceed smoothly.

Under the strong leadership of the customer, this project was aimed at creating an ideal work environment for researchers.
At Itoki, we have proposed and built a more comfortable work environment that is integrated with the space, based on the concept of coexistence with architecture.
