As work styles and worker values diversify, workplaces are required to not only be functional and efficient, but also to have designs that stimulate creativity and embody the organization's purpose. In addition, the boundaries between public spaces are becoming blurred, and there is a growing need for spatial design that is of higher quality and more hospitable. This time, under the theme of "&ITOKI," we will exhibit five global brands in addition to the ITOKI brand, including Knoll, STELLAR WORKS, esPattio, Poul Henningsen Furniture, and J1890, in our largest booth ever. Although we are an office furniture manufacturer, we will also propose a wide range of interior designs that go beyond the brands as a "platformer for design office furniture."

Since its founding in 1890, ITOKI has always created something new through global collaborations such as importing and selling overseas patented products, in-house production, and developing chairs with overseas companies. This the Pioneering spirit is in line with the current "&ITOKI" philosophy. With our production technology and quality capabilities based on our domestic and international networks and long-standing know-how, and the knowledge of approximately 170 in-house product designers and space designers, we will deliver free and beautiful choices and new working comfort to the world of workplaces through our unique product lineup and space proposals.

■J1890 (J1890)

A global luxury brand from New York. Designed in New York, the most diverse city in the world where different races and values come together, and made in Japan with high-quality craftsmanship by artisans, the brand offers the world unprecedented office furniture. Itoki and globally active creative directors and designers are also involved in the project, which is currently underway for an official release next year. Prototypes of some of the collections will be on display at this event.

J1890

■Poul Henningsen Furniture

A furniture collection by Poul Henningsen, a designer born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Famous as a lighting designer for Louis Poulsen, he also designed furniture such as mirrors, stools, and chairs in the 1930s and tables in the 1950s. The manufacturing technology at the time did not allow for mass production, and the products were not distributed in the market for more than half a century after their design, except for the temporary production and sale of mirrors. However, a Danish company began production and sales in 2018. The lineup will be expanded in stages, and ITOKI will be the first in Japan to handle the products in 2024. Experience the charm of "PH Furniture", which is highly rare worldwide.

■Knoll

It is said that "the history of Knoll is the history of the modern design movement itself," making it a global furniture brand that represents the mid-century. Founded in New York in 1938, the company's solid business model was established by Hans Knoll and his business partner and wife Florence Knoll. The company's numerous products, based on the Bauhaus-inspired motto of "Modern Always," continue to create attractive and timeless spaces in a variety of settings, including offices, hospitality, and homes. ITOKI began handling Knoll in 2018 and is the only company in Japan that produces the brand under license.

■STELLAR WORKS

A furniture brand from Shanghai that ITOKI began carrying in 2022. It was founded with the concept of linking different countries, regions, cultures and values, such as "East and West," "tradition and modern," and "craft and industry," by uniting the excellent traditional cultures and techniques of each in the light of modern times. With a renewed focus on Asian beauty, the brand aims to create new, timeless products by incorporating traditional Japanese forms, styles and motifs from a different perspective of European tradition. Its products are used not only in offices, but also in many luxury hotels and restaurants.

STELLAR WORKS

■ esPattio

In Spain, the courtyard (patio) of a house is furnished and used as an open, bright and cozy space. esPattio is a series of furniture that creates a patio-like space within an office and induces free and active communication and inspiration between office workers. The light, color and warmth of southern Spain are used in the design, and the passionate and powerful colors of Andalusia create a lively space. In its home country, it is developed by Forma5, an office furniture manufacturer based in Seville, and in Japan, it has been handled only by Itoki since 2023.

    • About the Itoki booth design

The theme of this exhibition is "&ITOKI", a reference to the relationship between furniture and space. Combining furniture and space, and taking inspiration from trees and fog, it creates a unique atmosphere. In addition, just as the furniture creates a mysterious and tranquil landscape, it also interacts with the space to create a comfortable space.
