At the iF DESIGN AWARD 2017 (hosted by iF International Forum Design), a product developed by ITOKI was awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD GOLD.

Flip Flap (FLIP FLAP Chair)
The multi-faceted design, born from the idea of "origami," bends three-dimensionally to accommodate various postures, making it a new type of chair with a linear and simple structure that is comfortable to work in even for long periods of time. It is also a health-conscious product, and has received the US environmental certification "GREENGUARD GOLD" except for the version with lumbar support.

Evaluation Comments from the “Good Design” Committee
This office chair has a very highly innovative shape. The surface is very original and the chair back has flexible flaps on the sides that allow it to be adjusted to the user's body. It allows you to change the seating position and angle as needed, according to ergonomics. The adjustment knobs are intuitive and easy to use. All in all, it's a very comfortable chair.
