My first impression of this chair is that it doesn't look like it's meant to be folded. Many folding office chairs have a certain sense of déjà vu, and you often feel the cheap side of folding chairs. This may be because many chair designs are based on existing folding structures. However, the way this chair is folded is very original and doesn't give you any sense of déjà vu. I also admire the idea of being able to stand on its own with exquisite balance. Experience a new perspective on office furniture.
Nort

A task chair that fits a variety of work styles and locations. With the increasing diversity of work styles, the workplace must be comfortable and equipped for workers performance. The Nort chair was designed to be a task chair that combines functionality, such as easy-to-use armrests that can be easily adapted to devices, with a design that easily matches office trends.

A task chair that fits a variety of working styles and locations. It is equipped with an armrest that can be intuitively adjusted to suit the device, as a measure to reduce stress on the body during long hours of work. There are also attempts to give task chairs a more casual look, with an emphasis on coziness and comfort in the workplace and space. By using textured mesh 3D sewing and robot welding, the entire back frame is covered with mesh, creating a task chair with a gentle feel and atmosphere.
Flow Lounge symbolic tree furniture

The Flow Lounge symbolic tree furniture has a design motif of a "garden" that promotes relaxation, bringing the comfort of nature and people gathering into the office. This symbolic tree furniture creates a comfortable place for people to gather, with greenery at the center, and its rice ball shape encourages interaction and concentration. Different heights also accommodate various communication styles.

Flow Lounge Symbol Tree Furniture is a furniture series that incorporates biophilic design to increase the greenery view rate, improving comfort and productivity in the office. The soft triangular shapes of different heights and the symbolic greenery placed in the middle promote a gentle sense of openness, and suggest that it will create connections between nature and people, and generate active communication. What was particularly praised was that, in a time when biophilic design is often adopted these days, it was designed with attention paid to the planning stage as "furniture that can hold real plants" rather than fake plants, and that the materials were examined before being designed.
Hover (Hover Table)

Standard table series that fits a variety of spaces. This table has a design that fits in with various office spaces and features easy-to-use functions. The thin legs are easy to get in and out of, and low-floor casters provide mobility. The foldable top panel improves storage and allows for flexible layout changes. A wide range of variations supports various activities of workers.

In your work space, it's good to have a meeting table of a comfortable size in a cozy cafe or dining room where a small number of people can gather. In addition, if it had a folding function and caster function, it would be very convenient when moving and storing it. Based on the simple idea of combining what you want, we re-examined the operability and locking mechanism, and updated it to improve intuitive ease of use. You might want to use it in a real cafe, too. The functional technology that office manufacturers excel at is utilized.
Akimiru

An attendance management system that eliminates wasted time searching for vacant seats in the office. The presence information is transmitted in real time by simply switching the installed presence display switch, which does not require batteries or power supply, to indicate whether it is "vacant" or "in use." You can easily check it from a distance using your smartphone or signage.

A fusion of IoT devices and software for a conference room availability management system. As it is a simple physical sign, the user does not need to learn new tools and is designed to be foolproof. Users can use it as a regular sign, and it features a natural UX that allows those using the software to see the availability of conference rooms even from a distance. Of course, even when it is not functioning as an IoT device, it can fully function as a normal physical sign. It is a good example of beautiful functional integration among various IoT devices.
Leonis

An executive chair that seeks to balance flexibility and functionality suitable for modern executives. The Leonis chair was designed by taking a fresh look at how today's executives work, and by being conscious of the balance between a flexible, heavy feel that is compatible with ICT devices and the functionality required for executive work.

It is said that chairs are related to the behavior of people in each era. The Leonis Chair evokes the image of a modern executive who takes care of both body and mind, carries an ICT device with him or her, and is always active. The combination of high-quality leather, a symbol of craftsmanship, precise stitching, and the polished aluminum frame gives the impression of modern design. The material is an old classic, but the slim form combined with elegant curves gives an impression of suppleness. I was impressed with the smart design, which is far removed from the traditional heavy executive chairs. The Leonis Chair is also available in white leather, which is popular with women, which also gives a sense of relevance to the image of a modern executive.
Luggage tray SL (undressing basket)

A luggage rack for examination rooms that is easy to clean, safe, and has a design that blends in with the space. For the benefit of patients and medical personnel, we designed it to be easy to clean and safe, with a design that is seamless, has minimal irregularities, has a height that makes it easy to handle luggage, and is designed to allow canes and umbrellas to be propped up against it. Furthermore, the simple design allows it to be used not only in examination rooms but also in various medical spaces.

An evolution of the undressing basket placed in the examination room. She carefully observes people's behavior in order to understand problems that occur in the examination room, such as why something is forgotten. The design that was born from this, such as the shallow tray, the shape that makes it easy to wipe down, and the recess that allows an umbrella or cane to be propped up, is very persuasive. In addition, the simple, minimalist, and clean design is reminiscent of a new standard in this genre.
Pulizea

A patient chair designed to support smooth medical treatment and cleaning work. Specialized for use in medical facilities such as hospital clinics, it has features unique to medical facilities, such as ease of operation by nurses and caregivers, ease of cleaning with a seat that seamlessly connects to the backrest and armrests, and stability when patients sit or stand. The requirements were realized at a high level. In addition, the overall design has been organized into a clean and clear form.

Evaluation Comments from the “Good Design” Committee
First of all, since it is a chair exclusively used for patient examinations, it is wonderful that the design incorporates functions that are not found in conventional rotary chairs. From the patient's perspective, there are handrails necessary for standing and sitting, and a wide seating surface that provides stability and a sense of security. From a nurse's perspective, consideration has been given to different users, such as ease of unlocking rotation, ease of lifting and lowering, and ease of disinfecting the entire surface. The design is simple and minimal, and has succeeded in setting a standard in this field.
regano

An examination desk where patients and doctors can interact naturally. In order to create an examination environment where patients and doctors can easily interact, the thin, short legs and concave top plate shape, which do not easily interfere with the patient or wheelchair, allow conversation with a small viewing angle even when recording a diagnosis. The flat design eliminates unevenness, gaps, and dust accumulation as much as possible, achieving both a clean design and high cleaning performance.

Evaluation Comments from the “Good Design” Committee
It is wonderful that the act of examining the doctor and patient face-to-face is based on the fact that it cannot be facilitated by repurposing an office table. It was praised for the fact that the table shape afforded the angles between the doctor and the PC, the angles between the patient and the PC, and the angles between the doctor and the patient so that they could be easily reflected in the actions. It was also praised for its rounded edges that visually ensured safety.
