Classification of caution types

Based on the following safety regulations by JOIFA (Japan Office and Institutional Furniture Association).

caveat

Improper handling may result in death or serious injury.

Note

Improper handling may result in injury or property damage.

Are they connected top to bottom (left to right)?

caveat

Please connect the units vertically (or horizontally). They may fall over when you put items in, take them out, or open and close the doors, which could cause injury.

Do you only use the top drawer?

caveat

Do not store items only in the upper drawers. They may tip over when pulled out, causing injury.

  • When storing items in drawers, always start with the bottom one. Starting from the top may cause the unit to tip over.
  • Store heavy items on the lower shelves to keep the center of gravity low.

Do not store these items

Note

Do not store dangerous items (fragile items, chemicals, etc.) as they may cause harm to people or damage to equipment.

Do not store cash or valuables in the locker, as they may be stolen if the locker is forcibly broken open.

Do you know the load capacity for the drawers and shelves?

Note

Do not store more than the maximum load capacity. This may cause the shelves or drawers to deform or fall, or the unit to tip over, resulting in injury.

  • Please refer to the instruction manual for load capacity.

Do not stand on the unit or shelves.

Note

Do not stand on the unit, shelves or pulled-out drawers as this may cause the unit to fall over and result in injury.

Precautions when opening and closing drawers

Note

Do not open or close drawers with your hands around them, as you may be pinched and injured.
