Itoki's Initiatives for Developing Next-Generation Management Talent
At ITOKI, we are committed to developing next-generation management talent with the aim of establishing a system that can stably produce successors from within the company for key positions, and to intentionally and systematically nurturing them based on our management strategy. From a short-term perspective, we provide opportunities for candidates for the next president to gain management experience through appointments as heads of business divisions or presidents of group companies, and participation in important projects. From a medium- to long-term perspective, we are developing future leaders through the acquisition of management knowledge and skills, participation in management meetings, dialogue with internal and external executives, and future forecasting projects.
Develop a management perspective through inter-industry exchange.
This training program is part of Itoki's next-generation management talent development program and is being conducted jointly with the Pasona Group for prospective future executives. The aim is to broaden participants' perspectives through interaction with companies in different industries, deepen their understanding of social and management issues, and cultivate a management perspective and a multifaceted viewpoint.
During the training, participants from Itoki and Pasona Group will interact, deepening their understanding of each other's businesses and strengths, and gaining exposure to diverse perspectives and ways of thinking through dialogue that transcends company and positional boundaries. In addition, participants will visit facilities developed by Pasona Group, such as "Nijigen no Mori" and "Zenbo Seinei," in the rich natural environment of Awaji Island, deepening their understanding of initiatives related to regional revitalization and well-being.
Furthermore, in the group discussions conducted during the training, participants will discuss social and management challenges surrounding companies, focusing on four social issues: "DX/AI utilization," "sustainability," "work style reform," and "diversity." Participants will develop the ability to view issues from multiple perspectives and cultivate a management perspective by analyzing, considering, and sharing the strengths of both their own company and the companies they are interacting with.
