Itoki becomes the first in the industry to be recognized as a "2026 Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation" (large corporation category (White 500)) for 10 consecutive years
ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Minato) has been certified as a "2026 Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation (Large Corporation Category (White 500)")" jointly selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi. Itoki is the first company operating in the office furniture business to receive this certification for 10 consecutive years.

Aiming to be a company where all employees can work safely and with peace of mind in good physical and mental health, Itoki is promoting a variety of health management initiatives under the Itoki Group Health Management Declaration.
At our head office, ITOKI DESIGN HOUSE TOKYO, we have installed a central staircase within the office and provided height-adjustable desks in various locations to encourage standing work and create an environment that naturally leads to healthy behavior while working.
Additionally, by providing tours of our head office, which serves as a working showroom, we are able to inform customers about Itoki's health management initiatives and their effectiveness and importance, thereby working to promote the health of society as a whole.
Having been recognized as a "Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation 2026 (White 500)" for the 10th consecutive year, we will continue to work to promote the health of each employee. As a health-promoting company, we will propose healthy workplaces to our customers and aim to realize a society where office workers can work in good health.
Itoki's Health Management
Itoki regards the physical and mental health of its employees as an important management issue. As part of this, it established the "Health and Productivity Management Declaration" in February 2017 to further promote strategic health and productivity management. At the same time, it established the cross-organizational "Health and Productivity Management Promotion Committee," chaired by the President and CEO. With this committee at the center, it continues to implement various activities and initiatives to ensure that employees are physically and mentally healthy and work safely.
At our head office in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, we have clarified our vision for work style transformation since 2018, and have adopted a "work style that views work positively" and "ABW (Activity Based Working)." Our flexible work style, which allows employees to freely choose the time and place to work depending on the nature of their work and their mood, and our office layout incorporates circulation routes, naturally create opportunities to walk around the office, leading to increased daily activity.
