Regarding participation in the Cabinet Office's "Group of Male Leaders to Accelerate the Active Participation of Women"

Aiming to further empower women and achieve gender equality

ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato), has joined the "Association of Male Leaders to Accelerate the Advancement of Shining Women" (Secretariat: Cabinet Office). In March 2016, our then President and Representative Director Yoshiro Hirai also joined the group, and we will continue to accelerate our efforts for women's advancement and gender equality at our company while deepening our network with male leaders in various industries throughout Japan.

Declaration of Action: A group of male leaders who will accelerate the active participation of women

What is the “Male Leaders Association to Accelerate the Active Participation of Women” (hereinafter referred to as the “Male Leaders Association”)?

In addition to promoting initiatives in accordance with the "Declaration of Action" to advance women's empowerment and gender equality, we will accelerate efforts by companies, etc. by building networking among participants and sharing initiatives and issues. This is a gathering of business managers etc. By having participants proactively communicate their thoughts and initiatives both domestically and internationally, we will also contribute to fostering social momentum for women's empowerment and gender equality.
Currently, more than 320 people, including business executives, governors, and mayors of municipalities, are participating.

This is a community that supports continuous career development by providing an environment and plan where you can demonstrate leadership while making use of your uniqueness and diverse individuality.
Over 10% of our female employees come together on their own initiative and carry out a variety of activities.

Introduction of “Child Care Leave Return to Work Support Fund”

ITOKI `` We Design Tomorrow. We Design WORK-Style.” As a company, we aim to create a work environment where everyone can work in their own way, and we support the balance between work and childcare. As part of this effort, we have introduced a ``childcare leave reinstatement support'' system. All directly employed employees who take childcare leave, regardless of gender, will receive a grant based on the length of their childcare leave.
