Dalton to exhibit at POWTEX® 2024, the 25th International Powder Industry Exhibition, Tokyo, a specialized exhibition on powder technology

ITOKI CORPORATION (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoichi Odate), a group company of Dalton Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato), will exhibit at POWTEX(R) 2024, the 25th International Powder Industry Exhibition Tokyo, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from November 27 (Wed) to 29 (Fri), 2024, covering the latest information on powder technology, mainly powder equipment and devices. Dalton's Powder Machinery Division will exhibit at POWTEX(R)2024, the 25th International Powder & Powder Technology Exhibition Tokyo. Visitors can experience the total solutions for powder processing provided by Dalton's Powder Machinery Division through exhibits of actual equipment, demonstrations, and case studies.
Powders are said to be the "fourth state of matter" because they are solid yet have the fluidity of a liquid, and are used in a variety of products, including food, medicine, cosmetics, and various recycled products. Dalton's Powder Machinery Division has the technology and know-how for powder processing, such as crushing, classification, mixing, granulation, and drying, as well as a wide range of products to meet a wide range of needs, from small laboratory machines to pre-services such as prototyping and testing, and after-sales services after mass production starts.
At this exhibition, we will be exhibiting various powder processing machines as powder processing professionals boasting advanced product power, an industry-leading lineup, and solid technology and know-how. As a machinery manufacturer with extensive knowledge of a wide range of powder processing processes from raw materials to manufacturing, we can flexibly respond to high demands including handling of pre- and post-equipment.
We will be exhibiting the Spartan Mixer, a high-speed mixing machine that can contribute to the product development of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), and the Marmerizer, a new product with improved capacity due to the addition of a chopper. You can consult with our expert staff during demonstrations.

・High-speed mixing machine Spartan Mixer
This is a high-speed mixing machine that circulates the raw materials throughout the case with a mixing arm and applies strong shearing to them with a chopper, achieving precise mixing. By adding a dry mixing process to existing LIB equipment, it can contribute to improving battery performance and shortening manufacturing time. We also offer a lineup of compact machines and vacuum function specifications for research and development.
High-speed mixing machine Spartan mixer
・Marumerizer, a round granulator (scheduled for release after 2025)
This is a spherical granulator with two functions: uniforming the length of granules and forming them into spherical shapes.
This time, by adding a chopper function in addition to the Marmö plate, the cutting of cylindrical granules has become faster and the spheronization efficiency during granulation has improved. It is also possible to install a chopper function on an existing Marmörizer.
