As work remotely becomes more commonplace, the 12th floor of our Tokyo headquarters, ITOKI TOKYO XORK, will be renovated in April 2022 as a "contact-creating office" that aims to strengthen the gathering and relationship-building that can only take place in the office.
The office is made up of 10 activities based on Activity Based Working (ABW), and we have reviewed the ratio of these activities. The office has been reborn with an emphasis on creating spaces for communication in real places and for communication that uses ICT tools to seamlessly connect the real and virtual worlds.
In addition to physical measures such as water quality, air quality, and environmental sound quality, the design takes a sophisticated approach to the mental and physical health of employees, including the provision of a mind fitness room.
Taking the opportunity of the renovation, the showroom function, which had been operated at a separate location, was integrated into the 12th floor of the main office.
By having the office and showroom coexist openly on the same floor, we aim to further strengthen the "point of contact between our brand and employees," "the point of contact between sales and customers," and the "point of contact between product development and the market." .
