The environment in which we work continues to change dramatically, and the places and methods we work in are becoming more diverse than they were a few years ago, and new values are emerging one after another. On the other hand, the importance of sustainable initiatives that do not place a burden on Planet environment is increasing day by day, and we have entered an era in which the way offices are built requires a major rethink.

The newly released torte U chair retains the compact size and Itoki's unique dual motion locking mechanism that were popular with the previous torte R chair, but has a significantly updated design to fit modern offices. Furthermore, by offsetting the CO2 emitted throughout the product's lifecycle from manufacturing to disposal, making it virtually carbon neutral, a new sustainable standard chair for the future has been created that can be used for a long time without putting a burden on the Planet environment. Up until now, office chairs have been mainly designed to show their functionality. However, work styles and working environments have become more diverse, and office interior design has changed significantly. The simple and sophisticated design of torte U was born out of this. The styling of the shell chair, all one-tone colors, undulating backrest pattern, and randomly appearing ceramic-like textures create a comfortable design that is smart and resonates with the senses.
