Itoki chairs selected as return gifts for hometown tax donations in Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture
Three series (10 types) of chairs were selected, including the ``Act Chair,'' which flexibly adapts to body movements and maximizes work performance.
We are pleased to announce that a chair manufactured and sold by ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato, hereinafter referred to as "ITOKI") has been adopted as a gift in return for the hometown tax donation program of Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture. Applications for the gift will be accepted from July 2022 on each hometown tax donation portal site.

ITOKI manufactures some of its products, including chairs, in Omihachiman City. Therefore, they are now eligible for the return gift as local products. The "Act (Act Chair)," "vertebra03," and "nort (North Chair)" that were adopted this time are highly functional work chairs, and you can choose the product that is best suited to work remotely according to the situation at home. As part of its efforts to contribute to the local industry promotion, ITOKI aims to convey the charm of Omihachiman City through hometown tax donations.
Comment from Omihachiman City
Omihachiman City is located almost in the center of Shiga Prefecture, and is dotted with national historical sites such as Oda Nobunaga's world famous castle, ``Azuchi Castle Ruins'', and built the foundation of Omi merchants, famous for ``Sampo Yoshi''. Due to this historical background, the city is a ``city steeped in history and culture,'' where landscapes with the elegance of each era are inherited today.
The Attraction Promotion Division promotes local industry through hometown tax payments, and aims to revitalize the city as a whole through sustainable local circulation. The hometown tax donations received from people all over the country are used for "childcare support" (medical expense subsidies, installation of children's playground equipment, mobile libraries, etc.), "education," "welfare," "local industry," etc. I am.
A chair made by Itoki, produced in Omihachiman City, has been added to the hometown tax return gift list. We hope you can create a comfortable work-from-home environment with this chair, which is packed with know-how cultivated through office furniture.
We sincerely appreciate the support from everyone across the country.
