ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai) has been certified as a "2022 Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation (Large Corporation Category (White 500))" jointly selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi. This is the first time that a company operating in the office furniture business has been certified for six consecutive years.

ITOKI considers the physical and mental health of its employees to be an important management issue, and in order to further promote strategic health management, it established the Health Management Declaration in February 2017. In order to further accelerate activities related to employee health, we established the Health Management Promotion Committee, a cross-organizational organization comprised of in-house departments in charge of health. We continue to carry out various activities and initiatives to help employees work in a healthier manner.

Additionally, in XORK 2019, the new headquarters office “ITOKI TOKYO XORK WELL Building Standard™* Gold (interior) certification. Through a tour of our working showroom, XORK, we are working to promote the health of society as a whole by informing customers about ITOKI's initiatives and the effectiveness and importance of our health initiatives.

Currently, we are renovating XORK into an office with a view to the post-corona era, and our employees are embodying the new workplace in the post-corona era and making proposals to customers**.

Having been certified by the Health and Productivity Management Organization 2022 (White 500) for the sixth consecutive year, we are working to further improve the health of each employee and, as a health-promoting company, provide workplaces where customers can work in a healthy manner. We aim to create a society where workers can work in a healthy manner.

*What is WELL Building Standard™? WELL Building Standard™ is a standard created based on seven years of rigorous research and development by the International WELL Building Institute that focuses on the health and comfort of people who live and work in buildings. This is the world's first building/indoor environment evaluation system. As a standard for objectively evaluating buildings that are comfortable, safe, and healthy for people, a major feature is that they are verified not only from an environmental engineering perspective but also from a medical perspective.
