The story of a student and a cat is centered around a study desk, and you can see that the study desk does not make any claims on its own, but always exists to be useful to everyone's lives. It was a wonderful episode that expressed how the study desk, which has been there for longer than one life, will continue to play a role as a quiet supporting character in your story.

50 years ago, a cat named Em supported me during my entrance exams. Now that I have received the award, I am immersed in the profound feeling that this cat has delivered a present to me for the first time in 50 years.

The cursive "itoki" logo was burned into my mind as a child. I was surprised to learn that my memory of the logo on my friend's study desk continued even after I became an adult and started a family, and that I was able to carry out my wish to buy an Itoki study desk for my own child. I think this is a good episode that shows us how brands are created.

I applied because I wanted to write about a desk that I have fond memories of. I immediately informed my son about the award and we celebrated together. But I think it's that desk that makes them the most happy.
President's Award "Desk at home - Connecting thoughts" (Cham/Oita Prefecture)
[President's comment]
This episode perfectly expresses the power of a study desk that connects the feelings of four generations of parents and children. I'm happy to see that instead of just being passed down as a hand-me-down, a child who was drawn to the story under the desk that everyone has has said, ``I want this,'' and ends up using his mother's desk. Grandma's tears as she looks back on her past make you imagine the passage of decades in a heartwarming way. This is a very heartwarming story brought about by the presence of a study desk.

We treat the furniture we spend a lot of time with, including our study desks, as important objects that hold many memories. This time, I once again felt that it would be great if I could convey that feeling to my daughter. With this award as encouragement, I would like to take on new challenges myself.
