vertebra03 (vertebra zero sun) wins "Chicago Good Design Award 2020"
～Three wins in domestic and international design awards～
ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Hirai)'s "vertebra03" has won the Chicago Good Design Award 2020, known as the world's oldest design award. This is the company's third award, following the "Good Design Best 100 2020" and the "JIDA Design Museum Selection vol.22 Gold Selection Award."

vertebra03 is a new work chair that ITOKI has brought to the world with the help of product designer Fumie Shibata, as an answer to the free working styles of the future. An advanced mechanism that achieves an appearance and comfort that blends well into the living room, unlike conventional office furniture. Another feature is its high scalability, allowing it to be freely customized to suit the individuality of the user and the space. Now and in the future, ITOKI will continue to make WORK-Style in Japan more free.

About “Chicago Good Design Award”
This is the world's oldest design award, which began in 1950 and is sponsored by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum. Awards will be given to works selected from among industrial products and graphic designs from around the world after a rigorous screening process by internationally renowned experts.
