This is a globally renowned design award that has been held since 1953 by Industry Forum Design Hannover (iF), an organization based in Hannover, Germany, that promotes international design. Comprised of seven categories - product, packaging, communication, service design, architecture, interior/architecture, and professional concept - the award selects outstanding designs from industrial products and other products around the world every year.
This year's awards received 6,375 applications from 52 countries and regions, and were subjected to a rigorous screening process by 67 internationally renowned design and architecture experts.
