ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Joto-ku, Osaka, President: Tadashi Matsui, hereinafter referred to as "Itoki") has been providing customers with comfortable, functional, and highly efficient environments and spaces in the domestic office market for many years. In February 2014, we will start offering a new service called "Work Size Planning" that focuses on the health of workers and promotes the health of office workers by improving work styles through office planning, while also working to create a safe and secure office environment.

The "Workcise" in Workcise Planning is a new term born from joint research between ITOKI CORPORATION and Motohiko Miyaji of the National Institute of Health and Nutrition. It refers to "activities in the way we work that are good for both work and health," such as working while standing or walking around the office. In creating office space, ITOKI skillfully incorporates Workcise into the space where office workers spend most of their day through the arrangement of office furniture and office equipment and the operation of the office layout, creating a new solution service that aims to help people become healthy while they work.

Workcise Planning is a service that identifies problems in both work and health and offers customers working methods that will solve those problems.
We will propose optimal environments based on ITOKI's unique data and knowledge on how changes should be made and what kind of office should be created.

(1) Type classification version
We classify working styles into typical types based on interviews, etc., and propose recommended work sizes and office plans based on the general trends of each type.

(2) Custom-made version
We conduct a survey about working styles and health issues, analyze issues and evaluate health levels, and propose optimal work sizes and office plans that address each customer's specific challenges.
