Evaluation Comments from the “Good Design” Committee

Work styles, environments, and office interiors are constantly changing. There are more and more elements that provide a sense of relaxation, such as wooden materials and calming plants. Traditional office chairs are no longer in harmony with such interiors, but there are still many cases where workspaces are limited, such as call centers and telecommuting. ITOKI's unique "dual motion rocking" mechanism is an effective function for modern workers, providing a sufficient sense of rocking while minimizing changes in viewing distance from the monitor. The Torte U chair features simple styling that fits into modern offices, a compact size, and low environmental impact.

"Hybrid work," which combines work remotely and office work, has become widespread, allowing workers to choose the environment that best suits their work. Against this backdrop, offices are being asked to provide "value that can only be obtained in the office," and in order to create new value that cannot be obtained through work remotely, it is important to enhance the environment for high-quality "concentrated work" and "communicative work." There is also a growing need for "easily reconfigurable layouts and multipurpose use." Insail was born against the backdrop of these changes in work styles.

common furniture Furniture Partition reevaluates and expands the value of office partition design and systems. Office partitions are suitable for easily creating a space, but there are often restrictions on design. However, in recent years, as spaces and designs that correspond to various work styles are required, we have increased the freedom of frame combinations, made it possible to insert various panels, and increased the variety of surface materials. This allows us to package various designs, and the partitions can be used not only for creative workspaces, but also for commercial use such as restaurants, retail stores, and hotels.
