Itoki delivers high-performance display cases "Artivista" to Asahi Group's Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art.
At the museum celebrating its 30th anniversary, we support the preservation of cultural properties and the improvement of the viewing experience.
ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato) has delivered its high-performance display cases "Artivista" (table type) and wall-mounted display cases to the Asahi Group Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art. The cases provide an exhibition environment that balances the beauty and preservation of cultural properties for the ongoing 30th anniversary exhibition, "Resonance: Kanjiro Kawai x Shoji Hamada - From the Tamesaburo Yamamoto Collection."
"Artivista" is a high-performance display case developed with the aim of achieving both the beauty of exhibited items and the preservation of cultural properties. It uses high-transparency glass with a low-reflection film applied to avoid obstructing viewing, and provides high design quality and protection in the exhibition space.

The Asahi Group Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art is a museum where historical and modern architecture blend together, surrounded by the rich natural beauty of Oyamazaki, Kyoto. It comprises the "Oyamazaki Villa," built during the Taisho and early Showa periods, and two new buildings designed by architect Tadao Ando, and is cherished as a space where art, architecture, and nature harmonize. All of the display cases are installed within the main museum building ("Oyamazaki Villa"), which is a registered tangible cultural property.
The high-performance display cases "Artivista" delivered this time are designed to allow for a more natural appreciation of the exhibited items' original colors, details, and textures. In addition, they take into consideration the air environment and humidity control inside the case, contributing to environmental monitoring with data loggers, high airtightness, and improved protection of cultural properties. Furthermore, the table cases have a large opening with a glass hood lift height of 600 mm, making it easier for curators to work on exhibits. For viewers, it creates a high-quality viewing space where they can truly engage with the exhibited items themselves.
Itoki will continue to contribute to creating an environment that protects and transmits works of art of high historical and cultural value through exhibition solutions that combine high design quality with protective performance.
