Itoki delivers high-performance display cases "Artivista" to Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts.

The museum, celebrating its 90th anniversary, contributes to the preservation of cultural properties and the improvement of the viewing experience.

ITOKI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Minato) has delivered its high-performance display cases, "Artivista," to the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts. Amidst the museum's 90th anniversary special exhibition, "Full Power! A Story of Masterpieces – Tracing the Episodes of Beauty with the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts," the display cases will provide an exhibition environment that balances the beauty and preservation of cultural properties.

"Artivista" is a high-performance display case developed with the aim of achieving both the beauty of exhibited items and the preservation of cultural properties. It uses high-transparency glass with a low-reflection film applied to avoid obstructing viewing, and provides high design quality and protection in the exhibition space.

The Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts, a historic public art museum, boasts a rich collection and is characterized by its exhibition environment that enhances the appeal of cultural artifacts. Having undergone extensive renovations, it continues to be a beloved institution for many visitors, even now celebrating its 90th anniversary.

The high-performance display case "Artivista" delivered this time is designed to allow for a more natural appreciation of the original colors, details, and textures of the exhibited items. In addition, it takes into consideration the air environment and humidity control inside the case, contributing to environmental monitoring by data loggers, high airtightness, and improved protection of cultural properties. Furthermore, the glass door can be slid open by approximately 90%, contributing to reduced burden during exhibit changes and the risk of damage to artworks during demonstrations. Moreover, the minimalist structure that maximizes the glass surface creates an appreciation space where viewers can truly connect with the exhibited items themselves.

Itoki will continue to contribute to creating an environment that protects and transmits works of art of high historical and cultural value through exhibition solutions that combine high design quality with protective performance.
