ITOKI adds new variations to its work chair "Salida YL7R" series, to be released on Monday, March 2nd

Headrest and armless types available

ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Minato) will release a new standard type (without headrest and armrests) of the "YL7R" home work chair in the "SALIDA" series on March 2, 2026.
The YL7R is a work chair that has been well-received by many users as a model that combines comfort for long hours of desk work with a full range of functions and an affordable price range. This new variation responds to the need for simpler specifications and is developed as a model that can be easily incorporated into limited spaces and diverse work styles.

Features of the new model

1. Simpler and lighter design

By eliminating the headrest and armrests, a more minimalist look is achieved, which reduces the feeling of oppression in the space and makes it suitable for working from home or in a compact workspace.

2. Inherits the comfortable features of the YL7R series

The functionality that has been well received in the previous model has been retained.
The backrest is made of double-layered mesh that is highly breathable and elastic, preventing stuffiness even when sitting for long periods of time and allowing you to maintain a comfortable posture.

It also comes with a movable lumbar support that firmly supports the lower back and can be adjusted in five steps over a 4cm range to suit your body type. It fits the S-curve of the spine and reduces strain on the lower back.

The seat is made of molded urethane (approximately 5.3 cm thick), which is highly elastic and resistant to deformation. The depth can be adjusted to six levels, allowing you to achieve a comfortable fit that suits your usage situation and physique.

Furthermore, it is equipped with a synchronous rocking mechanism that allows the rear of the seat to sink in conjunction with the backrest. It supports a rocking angle of up to 26 degrees, and can be adjusted to four comfortable angles, from a concentrated posture to a relaxed posture.

A handle is provided in the center of the back to allow the chair to be moved, and is designed to prevent the upholstery from getting dirty. The casters are made of urethane material that won't scratch the floor, making the chair easy to use on a daily basis.
